Grade 2 £18,887 – £20,043 (dependant on service/before pro-rata)

Hours: 36.5 Monday to Friday

Work Pattern: Term Time only

We require an experienced clerical assistant to commence as soon as possible, working 5 days per week during term time only.

You will have the responsibility to provide full clerical support to the school including reception duties.

Duties will include general administration, effective running of the school office, typing and data entry, accurate note taking and typing, processing pupil and staff information. Dealing with visitors, deliveries, telephone calls and supporting the Business Manager with any duties.

We require the person to adhere to the ethos of the school:

  • Attend at appropriate staff meetings and parents’ evenings.

The successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to relevant pre-employment checks. Please note Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to be paid by the successful candidate (approx. £50)

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.

This role is exempt form the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
