Job Information
As part of the ongoing development of our Trust finance team to support our establishments, we have a new opportunity for a Bursar to support Mayfield School. The Bursar will operate and develop the financial and associated administrative procedures and systems of the establishments as part of the Trust finance team, reporting to the CFOO and working closely with the Executive Headteacher. The immediate focus will be on staffing costs monitoring and production of the monthly pack. The role will be split across The Trust Office and Mayfield School. The ideal candidate will ideally:

– Have experience of monitoring budgets and advising on implications of decisions
– Have experience of producing management accounts, including undertaking payroll reconciliation
– Oversee and manage the day to day running of the Finance Information Systems including PS Financials and IMP
– Line manage Finance Officers
– Have experience of working across multiple sites
– Be an effective team player

It is important that applicants have a well-developed understanding of how non-class-based support staff roles contribute towards positive outcomes for students and the ability to ensure student need is always prioritised.
