As a result of our school growing and increasing our intake, an opportunity has arisen at Queensbury School to join a well-established, friendly, and committed team.

We are a specialist provision for students aged 11-19, with a range of special educational needs. Our staff take a creative approach in teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of personalised curriculums in a way that maximises achievement and personal development. We are seeking to appoint an English Teacher with experience of Secondary accreditations and the Curriculum for English at GCSE and Entry Levels.

We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:

  • Outstanding teaching and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to inspire others whilst being passionate and creative about Literacy.
  • Experience of teaching phonics and English.
  • Evidence of ambition and commitment to continuing professional development.
  • The desire to maximise the performance of all students and ensure the very best outcomes for all.
