Retired now but previously Managing Director of Righton Ltd, a national stockholder and distributor of metals and plastics. I have many years of experienc in marketing and business management.

Mike Jameson

I am a semi retired former School Business Manager at a large secondary school. I continue to server as the Chair of local Charity Expertise Finance, partake in School Governorship and School Leadership and Management.

Following my retirement as a School Business Manager I retained a strong interest in the education sector as a member for many years of Birmingham Schools Forum and as Treasurer of Birmingham Governor Network. I retain a strong commitment to the Education Sector and supporting young people through their education journey. My outside interests include most sports, with a particular interest in cricket and football though sadly no longer in a playing capacity but I do enjoy play Table Tennis and New Age Kurling as well as weekly Pilates and I also enjoy the theatre and regular visits to Barcelona to see my daughter and her twin boys.

Ray Linforth

I am a retired former University Vice-Chancellor with over 40 years’ experience working in schools, Further Education and Higher Education. Although retired I am still actively involved in education in a number of different ways. I am the Chair of Governors of a large Further Education College. I chair the Education Committee of the royal Academy of Culinary Arts and also sit on its Management Committee. I am also delighted to support the work of Education Impact Academy Trust.

I am passionate about the real positive difference education can make in people’s lives, having benefitted myself from the transformative influence of outstanding and committed teachers who inspired me to be the very best I could possibly be.
