Job Information

The Hive was recently judged by Ofsted as an Outstanding College. Our students are delightful, their behaviour is exemplary and they are very keen to learn the skills and behaviours they require in preparation for adulthood

We provide Specialist Further Education to young people aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. In November 2023 we were recognised by Ofsted as an Outstanding College. Please see our website for further details of the college www.hivecollege.org.uk.

We are looking for a minibus driver who is committed to providing a reliable, efficient and timely service to our students.  The ideal candidate will have a ‘can-do’ and proactive approach to the role and will be responsible for safely transporting college students to and from the college.

Our students are delightful, work hard and are keen to learn and the college is a very happy and positive working environment. All staff are friendly and very supportive, we have excellent facilities and a superb environment to support teaching and learning, preparing our students for adulthood.

We are looking for someone who can role model positive behaviours, have experience of working directly with young people in any setting and who are willing to work with others as part of a strong team.

We offer a benefits package for all employees through BHSF and regular opportunities for professional development and growth through the college and as part of the Trust.

We are proud to be part of Education Impact Academy Trust where “better never ends”.

The trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and expects all staff to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS, Childcare Disqualification (where applicable), qualifications, medical fitness, identity and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references which will be sought prior to interview. An online search (and a prohibition check for teachers) will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all short-listed candidates.
